A good morning, slowly
Small rituals for a less hurried start.
Before the noise
A quiet morning can begin with one ordinary thing: opening a window, putting water on for tea, or sitting near the light for a moment. A ritual works best when it fits the life you actually have.
One thing at a time
Let the kettle boil without filling the wait. Prepare breakfast before opening your messages. Read a page instead of a feed. None of these choices needs to become a rule; they are invitations to give the first part of the day a little space.
Start small
Pick one five-minute habit and try it tomorrow. If the morning gets busy, return to it the next day. A useful routine should make life gentler rather than become another thing to get right.
